Pilot Cove Trail System
Pilot Cove currently features ~2 miles of trails open on the property. As we border Pisgah National Forest, we encourage our guests to take advantage of the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails just outside our entrance in the Pisgah Ranger District.
Proposed Future Campground
We are pleased to announce the approval of a special use permit for the development of a 10 acre campground at Pilot Cove! Access to the campground would be off of 280 (Asheville Hwy) in Pisgah Forest. It will consist of primitive sites, Appalachian Trail styled private shelters, furnished glamping sites, and RV/camper sites. All sites will have access to electricity, Wifi, and secure storage. Our friends at Sitework Studios in Asheville helped create the site plan above that we are working to make a reality in the near future.
